Aperitivo Migrante – 23 February, @ Trattoria Decoratori e Imbianchini
Thursday 23 February sees the return of ‘Aperitivo Migrante’, the sixth in a series of scientific, cultural and linguistic aperitifs, organised monthly as part of ‘Scienza Migrante’, across the Case del Quartiere and other civic and cultural centres in Turin.
The project stems from the idea of contributing to the public debate on the theme of immigration and inclusion from a different point of view, starting from science stories that have as protagonists those who have emigrated from their homeland.
protagonists who have emigrated from their countries of origin to Italy, bringing with them a wealth of cultural and scientific knowledge that is often little known or unexpressed.
Scienza Migrante collects and brings these stories of life and science to the knowledge of the public through the portal scienzamigrante.unito.it, through the Aperitivi Migranti and through an educational project for schools.
The ‘Aperitivo Migrante’ will be an opportunity to meet the protagonists of our stories and discover their stories and the culture of their countries of origin.
How? Simply by chatting and enjoying an aperitif and taking part in an interactive quiz, where the audience will be able to try their hand at answering questions on different countries of the world, to listen to the answers of the migrant scientists and talk about science, culture and immigration in an informal and fun way.
